Snow Camping with TRI Mountaineering |
|
 |
The Snow Camping group had an amazing and wonderful adventure in the Sierra Mountains. Gorgeous weather, beautiful scenery, lots of hard work, fun times, and built a stronger community among the students. They were faced with many challenges but they overcame them. The boys demonstrated resilience, grace, patience, encouragement and compassion. They went in as independent individuals, but came out as one cohesive team. |

Active Days, Confident Students: The Power of Personal Hygiene
As our students participate in a variety of exciting activities each day - yoga, hiking, MMA, rock climbing, strength and conditioning, and hands-on electives like art and engineering - it’s important to remind them about the role good personal hygiene plays in their daily comfort and confidence. Active days can naturally lead to sweating and other hygiene challenges, and building consistent routines now helps students feel their best and shows consideration for those around them.
We encourage students to start each day with good hygiene practices, including showering and wearing clean clothes. Additionally, it can be helpful to bring items such as deodorant, body wipes, or even a change of clothes for especially active days. These simple habits ensure they stay fresh and comfortable throughout the school day, enabling them to fully enjoy and focus on their activities.
As part of a close-knit school community, being mindful of personal hygiene contributes to a positive, respectful environment for all students and staff. Thank you for supporting these habits at home and reinforcing their importance. If you have any questions or need suggestions on how to help your child prepare for active school days, please feel free to reach out. |
